It's Time For A Good Look At The 8

BMW has a new big coupe and wants you to know what it looks like.

Like a lot of automakers, BMW spent the Paris Auto Show earlier this month showing us some of the cars we could look forward to seeing on our roads soon. The new 3 Series is obviously the more mainstream, but it was never going to get the juices flowing like BMW's other new addition: the 8.

Resurrecting the 8 Series name previously only used on the E31, the V8 G15 slots in somewhere near the top of BMW's lineup. It's smaller than the 6 Series coupe, but unlike its four-door sibling it's committed to only the two points of entrance, so it's the most worthy of being called a grand tourer.

As is tradition when a new car is launched, BMW invited the world's media to Portugal to get a closer look at it. Our invitation *ahem* must have got lost in the mail, but we've still got plenty of photos of the G15 looking glorious in Sunset Orange.
